Partial Job Description

· Manage areas to drive profitability, productivity, on-time delivery and quality

· Ensure the overall Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity for assigned departments

· Formulate departmental long range and short-term objectives, plans and programs consistent with corporate objectives, plans and programs for assigned areas

· Implement these objectives, plans and programs

· Ensure personnel are kept informed of conditions, trends and important activities affecting their area as well as daily results, quality issues and other business requirements

· Participate and lead continuous improvement events in assigned area

· Develop optimum capacity, efficiency and profitability, in conjunction with cross functional resources, through the upgrading and modernization of facilities and equipment and improvements in manufacturing systems

· Develop and implement standard work documentation and work flow or tasks and cells within areas of task

· Ensure optimum utilization of personnel

· Ensure that areas are staffed with competent personnel and that potential supervisory personnel are being developed so that qualified successors are available for key positions within the organization

· Ensure training and development of assigned personnel to maximize productivity across production departments

· Perform associate performance review, employee relations activities and corrective action in conjunction with Human Resources in a timely and effective manner

· Ensure company compliance with quality, regulatory and safety directives

· Responsible for the plant P&L

Qualifications / Skills Required

· BS in Engineering or related field (preferred)

· Minimum 5+ year of progressively responsible operations leadership experience (preferred)

· Experience in regulated industry (preferred)

· Ability to think strategically, viewing the business from a general and high level management standpoint

· Ability to drive results in a cross-functional and matrix organization

· Ability to identify and develop the talent in the group

· Ability to exercise independent judgment on immediate situations with cost, policy and reputation ramifications

· Ability to motivate and handle conflict

· Strong communicator and team player
