POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is required to identify, qualify, and develop suppliers for company with satisfied project savings, quality products and on time delivery service. Direct interface with suppliers and global Climate Control supply managers and directors on commercial, technical, quality requirements and related issues.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and execute the sourcing strategy to meet company's goals in regards to quality, delivery and cost; achieve quality and productivity through implementation of quality strategies and programs.

2.Responsible for the supervision of company sourcing process to ensure the implementation of sourcing plans and policies.

3. Liaise with functional and operational area managers (for example service, sales and production) to ensure that supply and activities are integrated with other parts of the business.

4. Carry out competitor analysis to identify areas of weakness, waste and customer dissatisfaction. Feed into Strategy so that alternative value propositions can be created and implemented.

5. Monitor market, purchasing volumes and supply base trends, and provide monthly cost reduction projections;

6.Supervise team members; prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.

DESCRIPTION:

Engineering Background is must.

Good Project Management Skills. Requires analytical ability and experience to problem solve issues such as: target price achievement, technical problems, schedule issues, and cost related issues.

More than two years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Comunication with supply managers and directors with fluent Oral and written English

Rich knowledge in Sourcing process and ISO9000/TS16949 system.

Commodity expertise: Machining, Motors, Compressor, Heat Exchangers, Casting, Electrical/ Electronics, Plastics (Not all required. These are focused commodity areas)

Mechanical/Refrigeration Engineering is preferred.

Self motivated, results Driven, and be able to work in a matrix team environment.
