职位描述
Main responsibilities:
The Major responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Suggest and provide network solutions for new requirements.
Install, configure and administer Cisco network devices and services.
Install, configure and administer network monitoring tools(Solarwinds) .
undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain and monitor network security
Network usage monitoring and performance tuning.
Analyze and troubleshoot network issues.
Documents network problems and resolutions for future reference.
Other responsibilities include:
1. Work on a rotate to ensure there is cover 7 days a week, from approximately 9am to 11pm daily.
2. Tracking and handling all issues on the whole system and ensuring incidents are resolved according to the Service Level Agreements held with third parties.
3. Keep up to date configuration document for data centre operations
4. Undertake testing of fixes and minor changes on the test environment, before release to live environment.
Qualification Requirements:
1. Bachelor or above degree in a computer related subject.
2. At least 3 year’s related experience, familiar with Cisco product lines such as 6500,7600, ASA series and experience with network support in a High Availability data centre environment.
3. Deep knowledge with network routing and switching protocols and familiar with VLAN,STP,HSRP,VSS,OSPF,BGP,VPN, load balance etc.
4. Demonstrated network troubleshooting skills in a Cisco Network.
5. Deep understanding of network security and familiar with network security products.
6. Familiar with Solarwinds network monitor products such as NPM, NTA etc.
7. Excellent understanding of support processes and issue resolution, with a good understanding of Service Level Agreements and how these operate with third parties.
8. A good standard of English is vital as this work will also include liaising with the company’s remote support team some of whom are based in the UK (note interviews will primarily be conducted in English).
9. Certifications which would be very useful, but are not mandatory such as CCNP, CCIE.
