JOB OBJECTIVES:
- Purchase logistics services in responsible area and governance management to linked sites
- Responsible for integration project and optimization project for linked sites whenever necessary
- Develop transport and distribution solution for existing business and new plants
- Support new investment projects with department leader

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Track and analyze China logistics regulations, infrastructures, transportation and distribution logistics service market and trend
2. Develop procurement strategy for responsible segments & legal entities
3. Solely in charge of responsible procurement segments for Western area & BPCC
4. Purchase logistics service to meet business requirements
- Understand business requirements, develop logistics service procurement strategy
- Negotiate, select, conclude and maintain the contracts with logistics service providers (LSPs) in compliance will all related procedures
- Implement EHS standards and Responsible Care scheme together with LSPs
5. Manage LSP supplier relationship; Develop together with LSPs, e.g. by introducing advanced logistics techniques and management in operation
6. Develop and implement logistics solutions to BASF investment projects; Optimize the existing transportation routes, models and warehousing operation continuously

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor degree or above. Major in logistics/supply chain, international trade, preferred
2. Above 8 years in logistics/supply chain in manufactory or 3rd party logistic company, 2 years in management
3. Good computer, communication and presentation skills.
