Services Engineer provides technical service and support to existing and new services delivered by ITTE for Ericsson.

The Service Engineer contributes to designs, troubleshoots and resolves problems in order to stabilize and optimize the services. Configures and integrates different nodes and solutions/services.

Responsibilities

- Perform operation & maintenance and support activities on nodes, tools and common/IT infrastructure per user requirement.

- Work as a project member; participate in development of basic solutions; execute lab detail engineering, installation, commission and integration per new lab setup.

- Cooperate with internal users to perform system test on Telecom equipment; finish system upgrade and daily maintenance.

- Coordinate user’s activity in the lab and analyze root cause of the lab problem/implement the solution to improve lab stability.

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above, majored in Telecommunication, Computer Engineering or relevant majors.

- Minimum 2 years working experience in the telecommunication industry in a technical position, proven experience in technical support and trouble shooting and debugging.

- Experienced in CDMA/GSM/UMTS products and/or IP networks is an asset.

- Solid knowledge of UNIX, Linux is an asset.

- Good written and oral communication in English required.\

- Customer oriented, self-motivated, open-minded and with team spirit.
