职位描述
Mission of Function:
2. Taking full responsibilities for all activities of RD sub-department, leading and managing a group with up to approx. 30 employees, including project manager.
3. Competence- and personnel management in order to ensure compliance in respect of due dates, quality and costs in accordance with the applicable Product Development Process (PI7300), LEAN Principla and the IC SG EA PRO Product Management and Development Guideline.
4. Maintenance of the existing product program in coordination with the product managers
Dimensions of Function:Deadline compliance, compliance with the development/project budget, patent applications, high product quality (defect-free), customer satisfaction(PLM), employee satisfaction, process maturity level (CMMI/Lean), test automation, department architect, configuration management, quailty management, internal training, user documentation.
Contacts:
internal: PLM, Accounting, Production, RG Sales, business development, Head of global/local division/section/department, management of other divisions and groups.
external: Suppliers, pilot customers/customers, subcontractors, universities, standardization committees, competitors.
Areas of Responsibility/ Tasks:
Develop a procedure for the implementation of the development department strategy and the customer requests (PLM)
- Competence and personnel management with analysis, setup / change of the personnel structure
- Definition of the development methodology and tools
- Continuous process improvement in respect of quality, innovation, time-to-market,
cost position -> customer orientation.
- Participation in R&D planning (strategic budgeting, orientation and prioritization)
Coaching of the project managers and employees:
- Planning (budget, time schedule)
- Personnel management (agreement in respect of objective, coaching, motivation, team formation)
- Process
- Controlling methodologies (deadlines, costs, quality, innovation)
- Technology
Agreement on objectives and verification of the achievement of objectives via
- discussions with employees
- EFA discussions/ EFA discussion (PMP rounds)
- Project conclusion meeting/ PRT's
- Reporting
- Salary discussions
- Management discussion
Improvement and maintenance of the technological basis:
- Identification of new, potentially promising technologies for existing and new products
- Protection of patent rights / legal rights
Employee guidance (project manager and project employee):
- Development, recognition and promotion of qualified and motivated employees
- form a creativity environment and free space for the development activity
- promotes cooperation and team spirit
- activates the employees for entrepreneurial thinking and action
- keeps an eye on successful integration of new employees
Definition and implementation of the technology:
- Definition of the technical solution for a platform or a product.
- Partner of the PLM when selecting different solutions
- Driver for harmonization of the technology in products
- Realization of the quality standard
Evaluation of the provided statistics and scorecards and derivation of measures.
- Analysis and verification of data
- Taking measures for implementation / corrective counter measures
- Leadership / participation in division-spanning teams
Planning management for a cost center
- Planning of a cost center (invest, operational expenses)
- Controlling during the FYs
- Defining measures for budget compliance
- Managing RD lab
Essential (today and in future)/Description of Experience:
" Professional Variety of Business": Several years of professional experience (approx. 7 years) in the field of energy distribution, automation engineering, HW/SW development
" Project /Process Variety of Function Areas": Experience from management of several projects, project volume > EUR 1 M
" Leadership Variety of Function Types": Several years of management experience required. Responsibility area should have comprised at least 10 employees.
" Intercultural Variety of Cultures": has experience of life and work, has successfully worked in international teams abroad
Senior Management Functions: For these functions, the four Leadership Capabilities Drive - Focus - Impact - Guide are mandatory.
All other functions: Please mark a maximum of six critical capabilities for this function.
Additional Requirements :
1. Bachelor degree above, second foreign language desirable;
2. Good understanding of SPA RD and EA RD strategy, supporting the RD Department head to setup, implement the strategy, and keep it in track.
3. With the good connecting in global EA RD team, enhancing SPA RD CN core competency management , empowering the people, ramping up the related knowledge.
4. Has to understand the fluctuation challenge in Chinese RD team, has to bring the whole team with their strength and motivate every employee to grow together with Siemens.
5. Willing to take responsibilities and work under high pressures;
