Main tasks (primary responsibilities) of the position:
？ Planning, implementation, measurement, analysis and control of all marketing communication activities to deliver strategy, support sales teams, profile QIAGEN and build on QIAGEN brand image.
？ Responsible for the co-ordination of all regional and local activities for effectiveness, on time delivery & impact.
？ Ensure brand consistency and global look based on use of Corporate Identity.
？ Ensure quality messaging and consistency across the communication mix including conferences & comunication tools.
？ All activities must be stored, monitored, measured, reported & reviewed to ensure active follow up, accountability, return on investment & part of an iterative process.
？ Manage and report regional & local marketing costs & budgets.
？ Manage key relationships with suppliers.


Position Requirements:
？ Minimum 3+ years of work experience, preferably in a customer facing environment
？ Minimum level of education: Bachelor degree
？ Fluency in English
？ Travel as required
？ Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
？ Good communication and presentation skills
？ Highly motivated and organized individual
？ Biology/life science background is a plus
？ familiarity with MS Office and basic knowledge of desktop publishing
？ Knowledge of layout tools and printing procedures beneficial
？ Knowledge of event management beneficial
