Direct Line: China SAP HUB Manager
Role Purpose
? Responsible for delivering, managing and implementation of SAP application solutions as per global template and local business requirements within budget and time line
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Accountabilities (max 8) Key Activities (max 4 per accountability) % Time on tasks
? SAP Project Implementation
- Be a business system analyst or team lead, coordinate and perform the activities throughout the project initiation, requirement, design, build, validation, cutover and exit phases, ensure the solution is delivered with quality and satisfaction.
- Liaise with project manager, HQ Template Owner and external consultants, ensure the project tasks are properly assigned, managed and done.
- Analyze and evaluate the global template and local business requirements including change requests and complex issues. Translate them into functional and technical designs and solutions.
- Conduct system configuration and responsible for the unit testing and integration testing as well as UAT.
- Plan and execute the data collection, verification and conversion process including master and transactional data.
- Monitor and follow up post project deliver to ensure all outstanding issues are resolved.
? Business Process Improvement
- Integrate and work closely with different business organization stakeholders to understand the strategic directions, business plans, issues, pain points, and to provide best solutions to create more business values.
- Provide structured and creative analysis to identify business performance improvement opportunities and effectively communicate findings.
? SAP Change Management
- Work with business organization stakeholders and HQ Template Owner and external consultants to identify the"as is" and "to be" gap. Find and utilize all possible SAP internal standard functions to fulfil business requirements.
- Follow HQ standard to deploy SAP value-added new functionalities and improve the system efficiency.
- Evaluate change impact on global SAP template and perform "regression tests".
- Plan and execute adequate two-ways' communication and interaction between project team and stakeholder groups to ensure effective execution for the change management, as well as feedback, intervention and improvement of project activities.
? SAP Knowledge Transfer
- Document all blueprint requirement, function spec, technical spec, configuration log, user manual etc. in detail and make them clean and simple.
- Work with project manager, trainers and content owners to develop and implement learning programs, process,methodology and activities to build the required knowledge & skills for different user groups and local SAP IT support team in sustainable manners.
- Plan and conduct assessments to evaluate learning effectiveness and follow up on the remedial actions.
- Periodically organize the on-going SAP training courses among business users and IT support team members for the new system enhancements and continuous knowledge improvement purpose.
lNecessary Knowledge and Experience to be able to do the job
? Over 6-8 years working experience in international company with global project implementation or roll out practice.
? In depth SAP R/3 FI/CO knowledge about system capabilities with at least 5 full cycles SAP R/3 projects. Wholesale & Retail industry experience is highly desired.
? Deep knowledge of finance accounting principle both for PRC and IFRS.Especially the experience to handle multiple legal entities.
? Strong knowledge in business process standardization and re-engineering is a must.
? Excellent design, configuration and testing skills is a must.
? Strong knowledge in cross module design and functionality is a must.
? Worked on 1 project on ECC6.0 (or higher) SAP platform is a must.
? Excellent communication skill, fluent spoken and written English.
? Business and result-oriented.
? Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
? Must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects to meet critical deadlines with excellent follow-through.
Education and Certification Requirements
? University or above in information technology, business administration or accounting.
? Certified SAP FICO consultant
