Title Regional Account Manager
Location Shanghai
Core responsibilities
Assume lead role for all company activities for designated accounts within APAC, in coordination with KIAMs and KIA Director APAC.
Cultivate productive relationships with key decision makers and senior influential leaders
Develop thorough understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition
Drive internal efforts to achieve Account Plans, collaborating with Creative Fragrance Management, Perfumery, Marketing, Consumer Research, Applications and Technology
Attract new business and defend existing business, identifying and creating opportunities for company to participate in targeted customer briefs
Manage regional project pipeline and personally lead key projects for the designated accounts, ensuring the most efficient management of company resources
Deliver and follow-up on customer submissions and manage wins to production and launch
Monitor competitor activity
Manage credit, pricing, rebate, etc. issues for the account and support Customer Care in managing and optimizing Supply Chain
Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
Primary Qualifications (education / experience)
? University degree
? 6+ years of successful sales, marketing or client relationship experience in fragrance or related FMCG industry
? Excellent written and spoken English. ?
o Ability to energise and lead a cross-functional team around a project
o Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, decision-makers and influencers, understanding and communicating customer requirements
o Competent negotiation skills
o Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations
o Consistent track record of new wins and ability to identify and create new business opportunities
o Consistent track record of significant business growth with key accounts
