Senior accountant – Cost – For:Qingpu

Job Output:
？ Maintain standard costs and inventory system correctly and timely, review actual costs for inaccuracies.
？ Prepare cost variance analysis report accurately, and provide reasonable analysis.
？ Complete monthly estimate and yearly budget regarding cost accurately and timely.
？ Monitor the compliance of the purchasing processes with corporate policies, and procedures.
？ Act as an inventory and FA counting coordinator to handle annual physical inventory and FA counts, investigate counting variances and resolve issues.
？ Give cooperation for related audit issues.
？ Give reasonable process improvement proposal based on cost variance analysis reports.
？ Facilitates appropriate cost study and cost reduction efforts.

Key Process (Ownership/Participation):
？ Responsible for month-end closing activity related to inventory and cost.
？ Annual Standard Cost setting and daily material/NPD standard cost maintenance in system.
？ Correctly captured material issued, energy, labor and overhead, analyzing work order variances, analyzing reserve accounts, analyzing and allocating various product related expenses.
？ Responsible for the development of standard costs, BOM validation, product costs and reporting systems required to provide accurate financial information.
？ Interacts with various departments to review cost for products.
？ Variance analysis, including purchase variance and production variance, unusual trends checking, effectively enhances cost measurement by tracking cost driving factor.
？ Assist cost rolling forecast estimate monthly and annual budget process
？ Support on monthly financial reporting and other ad hoc analysis
？ Other tasks assigned from leader

Organizational Relationships:
？ Reports directly to Finance Manager.
？ Relationships with Finance team members for Accounting, Finance analysis, Credit and Tax.

Key Customers and Suppliers:
Internal
？ All employees of ABPS
？ Controller’s department and Finance department
External
？ Finance division in Armstrong Corporate
？ Vendors to manufacturing

Measures of Effectiveness:
？ Cost analysis of manufacturing and effective measures.
？ Compliance with finance policy and standard for both PRC and US GAAP.
？ Customer satisfaction
？ Complete all of tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
？ Fulfillment of financial reporting responsibilities for cost related.

Value Added Activities:
？ Deeply analysis for manufacturing cost and business operation.

Education & Work Experience:
？ Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
？ At least 5 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in a product manufacturing environment.
？ At least 2 years experience in a cost accounting role.
？ Experience working in multi-national company is a plus.
？ Lean project related experience is a plus.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
？ Strong analytical and accounting skills.
？ Logical thinking
？ Excellent communication skills
？ Good English skill both written and spoken
？ BPCS experience is a plus
？ Strong problem-solving and independent working capability.
？ Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
