Job Description:
System verification and test of 2G/3G and LTE Mobile Platforms with focus on field testing on live operator networks worldwide.

* Planning, coordination and management of overall field test campaigns
* Preparation and execution of field tests
* Generating error reports, change requests, test reports and status overviews
* Creating and maintaining of test specifications and test cases '
* Analysis of Failure logs, provided by verification field test teams, which will provide the following outcomes:
- Create tracking issues in defect tracking database with breakdown to faulty component
- Provide reference of existing known duplicate issues with defect database reference
- Request for additional information or trace debugging to verification teams as to enable further analysis of failures
- Provide explanation in case the fault is not due to device under test, but is due to NW, setup or test definition
- Interfacing between developers, verification leads and verification engineers
- Extract and identify from log files the NW configurations and capabilities to adjust the field test scopes
- Extract and identify from log files data parameters of some test scenario for additional reporting information (example: HSDPA CQI, Codes, Modulation to correlate with throughput results
Qualifications
* University / University of applied sciences: Bachelor / Master in electrical engineering or information technology required
* Work experience at least 3 years
* Experience in test and verification of telecommunications equipment, preferably in mobile phone testing with focus on field testing
* Knowledge of 3GPP specs required (GSM, GPRS, 3G & LTE)
* General understanding of mobile networks and air interface signaling protocols
* Experience in trace analysis on mobile and on network side
* Experience in measurement and debugging equipment
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Ready to integrate in international teams
* Independent way of working, proactively tackling issues
* Flexibility as to deal with workload peaks
