Job Description:

We are currently seeking several highly motivated, energetic and resourceful senior scientists to join our growing Bioanalysis team at Wuxi Apptec Suzhou facility. The individuals will be responsible for the method development and validation for quantitative analysis of small molecules in a variety of biological matrices (i.e. plasma, whole blood, tissue etc) to support preclinical studies for multiple clients both domestic and international. The individuals will also play a key role in the development of junior staff and operation improvement to enhance operation efficiency of the department. The selected individuals will work closely with other scientists and other disciplines to ensure project support to meet the overall company goals.
The ideal candidates will have a MS or PhD degree in analytical chemistry or related field and at least 2 years of industry experience in the development of quantitative bioanalytical methods. Candidates with BS degree and equivalent experience may also qualify for these positions. The candidates are expected to have experience in method validation and supporting preclinical studies in a GLP compliant mode or clinical studies. The candidates should also be familiar with current regulatory requirements on bioanalysis. Some of the key qualities and experience expected for these positions include:
(1) Ability to follow SOPs, policies and comply with regulations
(2) Ability to trouble-shoot common instrument problems with LC and MS
(3) Experience in extraction and LC-MS/MS method development & problem-solving
(4) Experience with Analyst software and LIMS systems for data management
(5) Effective communication skills both written and verbal, and good interpersonal skills
(6) Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results on timeline
(7) Experience in leading projects and manage staff to achieve team goals
(8) Ability to write and review protocols and reports in both English and Chinese are expected as the formal language at work is English for notebook and communications
(9) Assay development with DBS or large molecules are also desirable
The moderate size of our bioanalytical team will require the candidates be able to work well with others and handle many aspects of the bioanalysis work while growing personal expertise in various aspects from method development, process optimization, report writing to people and project management and client interactions.
