Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development effort High Speed Cable IO components and accessories to include die cast shells, paddle card (pcb), latching, release and cable strain relief designs. Ensure that the product design is manufacturable and will meet the defined customer requirements. Work as part of a global cross-functional team. This engineer have design responsibility for CXP,mSAS HD, 25G Densishield, zQSFP (25G) and zCXP (25G) cable IO connectors which are key initiatives for 2011.

Requirement:

• 5 years experience. Familiarity with calbe assembly and connector design preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with pcb design and fabrication techniques preferred.
• Industry Standards committee knowledge and membership experience is a plus.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline, or equivalent engineering course work and related experience.
• Working knowledge of Pro Engineer, FEA simulation software (ANSYS preferred), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles, and Statistical Engineering methods.
• Ability to work effectively within a project team and to direct the activity of others as is needed.
• Ability to communicate well with Global Customers and all levels of the organization including Management, Marketing, Sales, Process Engineering, Test Lab personnel, other Engineers (local and global), and Designers (local and global).
• Ability to prioritize work to meet objectives and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
