Engineering PM (Design For Manufacturability)
Key words: DFM, PD or ME (mechanical engineer) background, fixture design background, tool design background, familiar with production(or manufacture) process, familiar with production machine.
Engineering PM (Materials management & control)
Key Words: PM background or ME (mechanical engineer ) background, material, delivery, familiar with IQC process, familiar with SQE process, work with SBM to pull in or push material delivery schedule and tool, fixture delivery schedule.
Common information
Key Responsibilities:
1.Overall management of assigned projects throughout the design, pre-production and production ramp to ensure the project is completed on time and within the project budget.
2.Understand the client's requirements fully and implement manufacturing systems/processes that meet or exceed these from an engineering and quality perspective
3.Anticipate and resolve any design, process and supply chain issues, bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts.
4.Interact closely with the client, track and communicate information to ensure that it is used correctly and that project issues are dealt with appropriately and resolved promptly.
5.Manage communications between the client, the supply chain and the in-house client team on all aspects of the project, from inception through to successful production ramp.
6.Overall responsibility for all project technical specifications and documentation including Engineering Change Orders
7.Provide technical input to supply chain selection.
Job Requirements
1.Minimum 5 years' experience in volume contract manufacturing for major OEMs
2. Minimum 3 years' project management experience
3.Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
4.Well-organized, detail orientated and responsive
5.Proven influencing and negotiation skills
6. Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain good relationships with the client, in-house team and supply chain.
7. Experience using Solid Works/Pro-E, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Project
8.New Product Introduction experience
9.Confident in verbal and written English to be able to communicate with clients
