【职位描述】
Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.
We are the SCIA team, part of the development team, primarily responsible for the development, execution, and analysis of automated regression testing during the product development phase. We are committed to identifying and resolving issues early to ensure product quality and performance.
The successful candidate will help define, design, modify, and implement automation test scripts for Calix EXOS products, maintain the automation structure, and integrate third-party open-source tools into the EXOS automation framework. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Calix EXOS products.
Responsibilities:
61Work closely with the EXOS manual test team to understand functional test cases and product functionalities.
61Follow automation test development guidelines to develop and maintain high-quality automation test cases for EXOS products using a Python-based automation framework, improving test efficiency, stability, and duration. Maximize test bed utilization rates.
61Design and refine automation test scripts using the Calix automation framework.
61Set up and maintain regression test beds for EXOS automation tests.
61Execute automation tests on specific code branches, report test results, and refine test cases to improve efficiency, stability, and duration.
61Collaborate with the global development team to identify the root cause of failures and deeply understand our products to resolve complex problems.
61Work closely with various teams at Calix (Development, Solution Test, and CPEG) and third-party partner teams to expand Smoke/CI/Build Sanity automation test coverage.
61Be a self-starter, a great teammate, and a strong driver for results and continual improvement. Be a quick learner with a passion for emerging technologies, and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Basic Qualifications:
61Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
61Over 3 years of experience developing automation using one or more of the following: Python, Perl, Shell, Tcl, Ruby, Robot Framework.
61Over 1 year of experience with data communications or telecommunications product test development in one or more of the following areas: Switch, Router, Gateway, Wi-Fi, XPON, L2 and L3 protocols.
61Over 1 year of hands-on CI test experience with Bamboo, Jenkins, or other CI/CD platforms.
61Excellent issue analysis and problem-solving skills.
61Quick learner with a passion for emerging technology research.
Preferred Qualifications
61Familiarity with Linux system, Shell, and tools such as Docker and LXC.
61Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
