Calix cloud and software platforms enable communications service providers, or CSPs, of all sizes to innovate and transform their businesses. We are the SCIA team, part of the development team, primarily responsible for the development, execution, and analysis of automated regression testing during the product development phase. We are committed to identifying and resolving issues earlier to ensure product quality and performance.
The successful candidate will help define, design, modify and implement automation test scripts for Calix EXOS products, maintain automation structure, integrate 3rd party open-source tool to EXOS automation framework. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Calix EXOS products.
Responsibilities:
61Execute, maintain, and analyze daily automated tests on specific code branches for home gateway products, ensuring the creation of comprehensive test result reports.
61Refine test scripts within the automation framework and our proprietary platform - ET-Home, to enhance test efficiency, stability, and duration, while maximizing test bed utilization rates.
61Collaborate with the global development team to pinpoint the root cause of failures, deeply understand our products, and guide team members in resolving complex issues.
61Foster close collaboration with Calix teams (Development, Solutions Test, and CPEG) and third-party partners to broaden the scope of Smoke/CI/Sanity automation coverage.
【任职要求】
Qualifications:
61MS/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Optical Telecommunication, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical skills.
61Bring over 8 years of experience in developing automation tests using one or more of the following languages: Python, Perl, Shell, Tcl, Ruby, PyTest, Robot Framework.
61Have at least 5 years of experience in data communications or home gateway product testing, with proficiency in areas such as xPON, Active Ethernet, Wi-Fi, L2, and L3 protocols; prior knowledge of home gateways is advantageous.
61Accumulate 3+ years of hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) testing on platforms like Bamboo, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
61Be well-versed in the Linux operating system, Shell scripting, and containerization technologies like LXC or Docker.
61Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
61Be a quick learner with a zeal for researching emerging technologies, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and efficiently managing time.
61Demonstrate initiative, work well within a team, and have a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
61Possess good oral and written communication skills in English.
