For our Product Family Site Logistics & Management Operations we are searching for a new colleague with consulting and technical experience in warehouse management processes.
In our product family we concentrate on:
1) Warehouse Management
2) Inventory Management
3) Yard Management
This position mainly sets focus on the area of Warehouse Management and focuses on consulting and technical experience with SAP EWM. But most importantly we are looking for someone who is responsible for leading the digital transformation of warehouse management processes using SAP EWM and other emerging technologies. They play a key role in optimizing operations, improving efficiency, and driving innovation within the organization.
- Enable and support internal business partners (IBP’s) to achieve BASF business goals through providing best-in-class IT and digitalization solutions.
- Drive the implementation of IT and digitalization solutions for BASF in engineering, maintenance, and operations.
- Continuously improves methodology, tools, guidelines, and techniques for business requirement engineering.

- Works in a DevOps environment with agile culture, keeping strong communication with the team.
- Lead and manage the implementation and optimization of SAP EWM digitalization solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop strategies to leverage SAP EWM for process automation and optimization.
- Design, configure, and customize SAP EWM system to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement data analytics and reporting tools to provide real-time insights and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate SAP EWM with other systems and technologies, such as IoT, automation, and robotics.
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex issues and enhance the functionality of SAP EWM.
- Train and mentor team members on SAP EWM functionalities and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

a) Essential Technical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a SAP EWM consultant or specialist, with a focus on digitalization and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, configurations, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, such as SAP Fiori dashboard.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, such as IoT, automation, and robotics, and their integration with SAP EWM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, familiar with SAP Debug.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- SAP EWM certification is a plus.

- UI5 for SAP Fiori
c) Experience in at least one of the following SAP Modules (priority on order)
- WM
- MM
