Global Procurement in Danfoss Sensing Solutions is looking for an experienced
and self-driven Category Manager with a strategic mindset to join our team in
Wuqing.

As our new Category Manager you will be entrusted with the responsibility for
managing a selected number of suppliers. You will mainly be handling mechanical
categories.

As our new Category Manager you will be entrusted with the responsibility for
managing a selected number of suppliers. You will mainly be handling mechanical
categories.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the
following
* Accelerate cost-down impact from suppliers driving and executing a
sustainable savings pipeline across all levers while utilizing cross-functional
teams.
* Develop and implement supplier strategies for all suppliers responsible.
* Support value-based negotiations with suppliers annually in cooperation
with segment/CPC.
* Manage escalated supplier topics including, performance, capacity and risk
management.
* Ensure compliance for contract and certifications for suppliers under your
responsibility.
* Support and run SEN change projects
* Support the Danfoss decarbonization ambition – 25% reduction of upstream
carbon footprint.
* Experience working in a matrixed organization and manage stakeholders’
expectations.
Background & Skills
* 5+ years experience of category management in direct category management,
preferably within mechanical categories.
* Must have solid category management experience from an international
company.
* An engineering background at bachelor’s degree
* Ability to evaluate open book model and a good sense of cost
competitiveness.
* English advanced
* 3-5 years experience of Sourcing Projects (execution and implementation)
using Milestones methodology for approval including but not limited to: RFQ
process (considering TCO), Suppliers Benchmark, PPAP process coordination,
Pilot Run, customer requirements, phase in/out and Ramp up follow up.
