Responsibilities
The primary purposes of this role are:
To generate new Logistics opportunities & further develop existing Logistics business
To promote and sell differentiating Industry Vertical Solutions based on Panalpina's Logistics Products & Services
To increase relationship stability by diversifying product offerings and developing multi-level contacts relationship between customer and Panalpina main stakeholders
Key Tasks
Generate & manage a strong pipeline based on the portfolio of the assigned Accounts for Logistics Opportunities
Coordinates all logistics sales activities in the Country/Area and addresses Regional support if needed (e.g. Tender mgt, Business implementation, IT, AHoL, RHoL)
Diagnose assigned Accounts Supply Chain Network set up to identify logistics opportunities
Develop and prepare strategic investment proposal in close cooperation with Area or Country Head Logistics, Regional Competence Centers, Area/Country Head of IV and Area/Country Head of M&S
Take lead role and actively participate to customer RFI & RFQ Logistics opportunities
Work closely with Regional Competence Centres / Country Operations Teams to develop RFI & RFQ proposals
To understand and identify potential key issues in contractual agreements and draw up commercial agreements
Prepare RFI & RFQ Post-Mortem analysis and share with Tender Management, Products and any other relevant internal stakeholders
To research and communicate market information on competitors, customers & industry
Build up and further improve customer relationships with the assigned Key Account(s) ( A-E) for Logistics Opportunities in the Country/Area
Gather Strategic Forecast from the assigned Key Account(s) ( A-E) for Logistics Opportunities and is responsible to communicate and update space requirements to relevant Area Product Organizations on Quarterly basis minimum.
Is responsible for timely & proper handover of business implementation to Regional Competence Centres/ Country Operations Team
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing
5 years of work experience (minimum)
3 years of overall industry experience (minimum)
2 years of experience in Account Management (minimum)
3 years of Sales experience (minimum)
