Research Manager – Qualitative

Individual as well as group contribution in SBU meeting its Revenue, Profitability targets, Development of the territory/reach of Kantar Product & Services. Handles various teams and provides guidance, support, motivation and development of subordinates.

Job Content

1.Either grow her silver to gold or handling 1-2 silver/gold grade client be responsible for the target;

2.Build rapport & working relationship;

3.Develop 2-3 clients from start;

4.Start being trusted advisor to 1 client;

5.Expertise across all research activities with minimal supervision;

6.Moderate, write dgs or supervise;

7.Definitely start of moderation with young researchers;

8.Supervise every deliverable ensure pg adherence & iso compliance;

9.start taking part in qual training: session on projective or moderation;

10.Do 25% of analysis & interpretation on every study – start off and make the RE/SRE continue Full presentation with supervision depending on complexity;

11.The person will be responsible for a segment of the local and MNC clients;

12.Primary responsibility would be to manage, maintain and improve the existing business / clients and development;

13.Should be able to contribute for developing new business generation from non-existing /existing clients and establishing new contact base;

14.Responsible for executing given projects in the different sectors and delivering on timelines;

15.Accountable for identifying and developing practical innovative alternatives/Decision Making Lead a team of researchers.

Key Factors

1.Leads the Executives Team. Has Sub-Functional Ownership. Leadership/Accountability for bigger and multiple projects. Specific Individual as well as Group Accountability. Accountability of identifying and developing practical innovative alternatives, Decision Making. Kantar Quality Standards, Timeliness, Set Revenue Generation & Profitability Target – Medium to High (based on environmental factors);

2.Proficiency in conceptual knowledge of research sector; Should be well versed with research techniques;

3.Should have knowledge in the particular sector dynamics and market issues;

4.Should have experience in managing client portfolios;

5.Ability to build and lead a high performing team;

6.Able to prioritize and execute responsibilities for self and the team; Able to manage expectations of Internal and external stake holders;

7.To put a check on Team Member’s Individual Performance Objectives;

8.High on Customer Relation Skills & Communication skills – Verbal & Written;

9.High on interpersonal & entrepreneurial skills.
