Report to : GM (PRC, based in Shanghai)
Responsibilities:
? Accountable in full to the Country Manager of China.
? The markets for these products are based around call-handling and are generally applied in high volume and/or strategic call environments.
? Account responsibility for all relevant aspects of the business and the relationships with the Distributors and the Major Accounts.
? Develop and implement the multi-channel market plan and strategies - to be agreed with the Country Manager of China. The focus of the role is likely to be 80% sales and 20% marketing.
? Maintain high quality and frequent communications with the Country Manager of China.
Requirements:
? A University degree is required, ideally in one of the technical disciplines.
? At least 7 years experience including 2 years manager position
? Impressive record of success in selling telephony or communications technology products to the telecommunications and /or call-center sectors.
? Alternative experience would include success in selling office equipment or peripheral products into the telecommunications and/or call-handling sectors.
? Experience in a multi-channel selling environment.
? Contemporary knowledge of the application of technology developed in a telecommunications company or similar environment.
? Very strong personal credibility.
? Retail sales experience.
? Proven successful experience operating independently of immediate supervision.
? Consistent record of achievement of personal business targets.
? Record of success at building long-term business relationships and with business interaction at low to senior levels.
? Hands-on style.
? Must set achievable expectations.
? Excellent presentation as well as oral and written communication skills both in Chinese and English.
? Able to concentrate on the important, not just the urgent. However, this person must also be able to manage multiple engagements concurrently.
? Must be pro-active and not simply reactive.
