Main responsibilities:
1.Audit Suppliers in order to evaluate if suitable for our targets in terms of: Quality, Technical Specification, Performance, Price and Reliability.
Analyse critically Audits results in order to give out a risk assessment about Supplier reliability and Product Quality.
Monitor the whole production process, starting from incoming controls of raw material and components, to machining process, assembly process, testing, final inspection, packing, shipment up to delivery with a Handling FMEA to minimize damaging goods risk during transportation.
Use proactive approach, looking and analysing failure mode statistical data coming from the market and implementing preventive action to avoid new and old problems.
2.Set up appropriate tests procedure and identify Fit & Functional characteristics to be controlled with major severity. Find out threshold limits for main dimensions/physical characteristics based on experimental method and available data.
Look at existing test procedure with critical approach and improve them to better identify potential goods weak point.
Decide the Sampling dimension for testing in order to be statistically representative.
Perform User/Work/FFU test as part of direct responsibility.
3.Set up Product Technical Specifications.
4.Set up Technical Comparison Analysis between similar product and investigate on cost break down
5.Develop inspection protocols in a close collaboration with Quality department, taking the responsibility of coaching.
6.Work closely with purchase team, Quality Engineer Team for a Cost & Benefit analyses every time a decision has to be token.
7.Periodically plan and keep monitoring all the activity by Gantt diagram
8.Apply visual management tools to keep under control activities and check the effectiveness of daily job (KPI monitoring)
Education background and Skills:
1.Bachelor degree in engineering (electric/electronics is favourite with familiarity or working experience in mechanics).
2.Minimum two years work experience after graduation.
3.Familiarity with lean manufacturing culture: required basic knowledge of management, control, engineering tools such as Flow Chart, Control Plan, Process FMEA, Handling FMEA, fish bone analysis, PDCA (Plan Do Check Act), 5S, 8D model, SPC (statistical Process Control), Cycle Time & Tack Time analysis, proof error system, poke yoke solutions…
4.Analytical skills to be able to spot problems quickly, find the underlying causes and finalize with actions to avoid the problem recurrence. This might involve thinking at 360 degrees, approaching in a critical way process, components, procedure and methods (fish boon analysis…)
5.Familiarity with measurement device as Oscilloscope, multi-meter, mechanical callipers, millesimal comparators.
6.Team works Oriented with appropriate skills in communication
7.Languages: English & Chinese – Russian will be appreciate but not necessary.
