职位描述

·         Lead projects for multiple plants across China including Suzhou, Nanjing and Changsha

o    Lead investigation into Quality issues relating to packaging components

o    Rapid and complete resolution of packaging issues to ensure limited downtime

o    Assist manufacturing facilities during investigation of downtime, efficiencies and general line issues for Packaging Equipment.

o    Lead and conduct pilots, line trials and fill studies in support of product transfers

o    Design and build items and BOM in Agile and Oracle system

·         Support the design and development of packaging for new China market manufactured products.

o    Identify, develop, test and specify new packaging components for inner and outer nutrition products

o    Closely interface with Sourcing and Packaging Suppliers to provide budgetary packaging costs.

o    Develop and present alternative packaging solutions, costs and recommendations.

o    Develop project schedules or timelines

o    Work closely with sourcing to identify and qualify Packaging Suppliers which meet Herbalife quality requirements to provide the lowest total cost.

·         Lead the research and implementation of cost savings projects

o    Work closely with distribution center, develop and review shipping data analysis’ seeking areas of opportunity

o    Creatively find ways to improve processes making operations more efficient

o    Innovate current packaging to save costs and improve product protection

·         Drive the development of new technologies and processes within production

o    Research new packaging technologies to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies

o    Utilize Lean Concepts to evaluate and improve current processes

o    Conduct regular communication with Operations Staff

o    Engineering and Plant Management to identify challenges, opportunities, and prioritization.

·         Manage component and machinery interaction across HIM China locations

o    Develop detailed test protocols and reports for Packaging pilots

o    Support Equipment FAT’s, SAT’s, IQ, OQ, PQ and final acceptance by providing packaging component and performance specification or requirement inputs to Engineering and QA protocols.

·         Lead introduction of new Packaging components and materials at HIM sites and Contract Manufacturer facilities.

o    Conduct Packaging pilots with written protocols and reports summarizing data, observations, corrective actions, and recommendations to ensure packaging and processes meet all requirements.

·         Liaise with US Packaging Team to ensure standards and strategies are followed globally

o    Effectively manage guidelines to ensure compliance with all company specifications and China regulations in markets serviced.

o    Ensure internal systems are kept up to date and approvals are conducted in a timely fashion

·         Complete all Corporate and Local training in accordance with due dates.

任职要求:

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations to all levels from line operators to senior management 

·         Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to work cohesively in a cross functional team environment

  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills through the use of “Design of Experiments” in order to reach fact based root causes and solutions

·          Ability to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and costs 

·         Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Detailed oriented, self-motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities.  

·          Proficiencies with CAPE and Microsoft Office applications 

·         Desire and ability to work under limited supervision and direction

·         Willingness to learn and become proficient with Herbalife internal systems

Preferred

·         Experience in Manufacturing environment trouble shooting and qualifying packaging components and materials for powders, liquids and solid dose products. 

Experience: 

Required

·         5+ years of packaging materials development with high speed manufacturing, filling machinery, Nutraceuticals, Food/Beverage or Pharmaceutical. 

·         Four-year degree in Packaging Engineering from a major university with a globally recognized packaging program 

·         Experience with molded containers, closures, induction seals, flexible film materials, paperboard and corrugated packaging materials.

Education: 

Required

·         Bachelor degree in Packaging Engineering 

·         CET-4 certification

Preferred


·         CET-6 certification, good written and spoken English

·         Master’s degree in Packaging Engineering  

·         Extensive industry knowledge related to current Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP/AIB, and FDA regulations in Food and Nutrition

·         Certified Packaging Professional
