1. Position Prerequisites 职位要求

Education教育: BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry related.

Experience经验:

5 + years process or production role in Defoamers or Surfactants manufacturing plant. Foreign owned company experience is preferred.

Skills 技能: Good communication and organization ability.

Good command of English in listening, speaking and writing.

Lean or 6 Sigma is preferred.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Technique Management Knowledge:

Understand Lean and 6 sigma statistical tools (DOE, Control Charts, Root Cause Analysis, Variance, Process Mapping, etc ….)

Process Knowledge:

Understands manufacturing process and critical parameters affecting finish product consistency

Technical & operation knowledge in surfactant/defoamer chemistry, manufacturing, process optimization

Broad knowledge of general process technologies/process equipment such as separation equipment, heat transfer equipment, drying equipment etc.

Fundamental understanding of safety principles and process safety analysis

Leadership/Managerial Skills

Demonstrate customer focus

Ability to analyze systemic issues and generate plan for improvement

1. Major Accountabilities 主要职责

Taking overall responsibility of the following areas 主要担负以下职责:

· Responsible for tolling manufacturing technical management for Ashland tolling manufacturing product in Asia.

· Responsible for Ashland new process, new product introduction to tolling manufacturing site, coordination of technical transformation between R&D and tolling manufacturers.

· Coordinate with product development, production, sales plan, technology related work and cooperation in quality management, raw material purchasing, production planning and sales departments for tolling manufacturing product.

· In charge of the tolling manufacturing plant technical progress and improve, including raising the production efficiency, improve product quality, reduce the production cost for tolling manufacturing product.

· Assist tolling manufacture in risk identifying for operation task and in risk control assessment

· Support on NJ plant daily production activities such as troubleshooting on daily production or quality issue, daily operation optimization, MOC, RCA etc.

· Support on NJ plant related projects such as compliance projects, capital projects, PIO projects, some other modification projects requiring technical support

· Complete other tasks assigned by superiors
