Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
 
 

Flexible work responsibility to meet department business request. Develop and execute action plans to achieve Vehicle Line Quality Targets for imported VLs. Support BU programs execution include work planning, progress control, milestone paper, PDLs, sourcing and associated financial management, interface with cross regional/functional team. Manage and ensure deliverable compliance for all functional teams, ensure all deliverables completed on time for each milestones/gateways. SPOC for any field issue & Lead containment actions development with support from cross-function team for responsible programs. Leads and tracks key program reporting metrics (TGW, etc.). Analyze quality indicators to identify high impact issues, prioritize action plans with LEA PVT Team. To host regular quality review meetings with cross-function teams. Actively working with LEA team on any plant stop ship issue to minimize impact to China sales performance and customer satisfaction Support imported vehicles quality status review in multiple meeting cadences.   Education Qualification Bachelor degree in Engineering. Masters is preferred.   No. of Years of Experience Minimum 5 years.     Preferred previous experiences Previous direct responsibility and proven experience in: Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Planning.   Special Knowledge/Skills  Required ?  Generic project management skills with delivered program examples. ? Business acumen and strategic mindset. ? Ability to resolve complicated program timing/resource/financial issue.  ? Cross culture/functional work experience.   ? High energy, self-starter, with ability and desire to take high responsibility and successfully deliver results with minimal supervision. ? Can do attitude, team player, work Independently.   ? Strong ability of effectively writing & presenting key issues and recommendations. ? Ability to understand customer issues based on internal & external quality indicators. ? Good communication skills in English, reading, writing.

Playing a key role in product development Ford’s elite REC team helps to accelerate the introduction of exciting new Ford technologies to China. Manufacturing technology is another major focus of REC, with our researchers and engineers designing systems, processes, components and state-of-the-art technology into all our vehicles in APA. In addition, as home for Ford’s China Purchasing Office, REC purchasing buyers and engineers manage supplier relationships, set manufacturing strategies, and collaborate with key suppliers on developing new technologies.
REC currently employs more than 1,000 talented Chinese and international staff. In early 2012, the REC facility doubled its capacity with the opening of a second REC engineering building.
