Responsibilities:
?Predicts attribute(cooling, heating, defrost etc.) performance and countermeasures
?Recommends improvements and refinement of CAD, CAE, airflow CFD and/or physical test acceptance criteria for compliance evaluations to support Design Verification (DV) and Sign-off.
?Anticipates cross-attribute impact(such as powertrain, EESE etc.) and proposes compatible hardware solutions.
?Owns the systematic mindset of climate performance (including refrigerant subsystem, air handling subsystem, control strategy and individual parts.
?Ables to deliver the climate attributes at the key gateways and make the correct attribute status review
?Participates in the development of thermal management in EVs for China market. Expertises in control strategy to meet the expectation of local customers.
?Operates climate attribute tests and site maintenance professionally.
?Be familiar with the vehicle development process.
?Creates new processes to address systemic issues related to attribute optimization
?Recommends improvements to the tools and methodologies needed to integrate attributes.
?Establishes competitive benchmarking needs and findings. Refines understanding and translation of vehicle performance to targets, and recommends improvements to target setting process.
?Advises others on cascade techniques and recommends improvements to cascade approaches that will deliver overall attribute targeted performance.
?Recommends improvements in system interaction balancing techniques, to improve delivery of overall attribute targeted performance.
?Recommends improved methods for objectifying relationships between attributes and customer expectations.
?Drives year-over-year improvements in attribute optimization.
Requirements:
Experience of project management/ engineering in at least two of the following climate systems:.
?HVAC, Air ducts and air distribution system development.
?Climate attribute and verification testing.
?EV thermal management system development.
?Climate control strategy calibration.
Knowledge of CFD tools utilized in automotive engineering.
? Minimum 5 years of automotive experience, working for an OEM or supplier..
?Thorough knowledge of engineering techniques associated with project management..
?Experience in component/ subsystem design verification process and test planning/ execution..
?Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and communication skills..
?Good coaching skills to help other team members in solving engineering problems..
?Fluent in speaking, presentation and written communication skills in English.
