D&R Seat Complete Engineer with proven experience in automotive seat and seat component from product ideation, proposal, development, design & verification, validation to launch.

1.    Develop and manage DFMEA with quality & core engineering & suppliers. 
2.    Develop and manage seat component/system DVP&R with core engineering & suppliers.
3.    Develop plans to meet quality objectives and validate robustness and durability of seat design.
4.    Ensure design and all engineering specifications are understood / to be delivered by suppliers. 
5.    Ensure all Ford engineering and quality requirements are met thru design and verification.
6.    Co-work with supplier & Ford studio team in NA, Australia and China to develop seat STO.
7.    Transfer and convert CAD data from/to suppliers as required.
8.    Oversee prototype build and testing, review results and prepare report.
9.    Oversee component/system level design verification and production validation.
10.    Interface with Ford NA, Australia, Europe and China team for product launch.
11.    Perform package and stack-up studies at both component and system levels.
12.    Participate in root cause analysis and problem resolution as issues occur. 
13.    Lead TO4 (PD / Purchasing / CE / Finance) to deliver program target on cost / weight / tooling / ED&T
14.    Support all APQP activities including PPAP.


Education Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  
No. of Years of Experience:
5 yrs+ relative working experience 

Functional Skills
- Good engineering analytical skills.
- Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Extensive experience with seats requirements/specifications, problem solving.
- Extensive experience in Quality/Reliability such as FMEA, Design Verification and Global 8D.
- In-depth knowledge in CAD, CAE and testing.
- In-depth knowledge in seat system production process.
- Knowledge of APQP process.
- Good skills in project management.
- Good communication skills in Chinese and English.

- Team player, dependable and honest.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate meetings with North America, Australia and Europe.
