Job Description:

Taking responsibility for document preparation for production processes, working instructions, material flow inside the workshop, etc.

Identification of problems and improvement of currently used production processes in cooperation with workshop supervisors, group leaders, Quality and Engineering department. Usage of lean manufacturing techniques to meet cost, quality, labour and safety goals;

Developing and implementing 6s activities in workshop area in cooperation with Production management, workshop supervisors and group leaders. Performing 6s audits on a regular basis.

Time management, optimization of throughput time for products, determination of standard times and implementation of improvements;

Development of production processes for newly engineered or localised BEUMER products including specialized tooling, machinery, auxiliary equipment etc.

Taking responsibility for welding area layout optimization and standardization, preparing suggestions for optimal space utilization and material flow;

Control and improvement of currently used welding jigs and fixtures in cooperation with Quality department;

Working with Production management team in order to implement continuous and long-lead improvement programs in workshop;

Supporting group leaders in solving daily production issues to ensure produce process running smoothly, timely reporting to Production management team about current issues.

Taking responsibility for welding robot and semi-automated welding machines development with machine suppliers and organising training of workers for operating these machines.

Familiarising with QHSE objectives and related processes. Attend different audits, ensure to pass the audit and take actions for any findings.

Familiarising with workshop related emergency contingency plans (injury, fire, power off etc.), implement the emergency response timely and effectively when emergency case happened.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, Major in Mechanical Engineering or related major

About 5 years of working experience in mechanical engineer or IE

Good written and spoken English

Familiar with welding standard, welding certificate is preferred

Familiar with mechanical processes
Familiar with lean manufacturing principle and tools

Strong analytical ability

Good communication skill and ability to work under pressure.
