The China Tools and Attachments R&D organization will be focus on applications and products designed for the Chinese market and ensure that the Tools and Attachments division can benefit from local technological advancements and leverage strengths from being close to the Chinese market.

Job Description:
- This role will identify opportunities in China and build a solid plan for the future regarding technology retrieval and competence development.
- The China R&D team will further support the division in bringing new products to the market, or with support from Division.
- Support the local production company to improve product performance and quality.
- Secure that requirements and opportunities in China are taken care of
- Work closely with division purchasing to find new partners/technical/materials in China.
- Competitor analysist.

Knowledge / Educational Requirements/ Experience:
- Master in Engineering.
- To be fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
- It is pre-requisite to have experience of steel Metallurgic
- Understanding of mechanical properties of materials, tribology and solid mechanics.
- A plus with experience from the mining and construction industry.

Personality Requirements:
- We are looking for a person who “makes things happen”, and focused on results, with good leading skills and the ability to develop the organization and the team members.
- Be a good communicator, structured and used to create solid technology plans. Also experience from balancing resources in a team to reach targets and keep deadline will be crucial.
- Have a strong interest in Product development and in sharing and applying your expertise.
