Job Description

_Develop innovative computer vision and sensor fusion concepts for application in automotive, infrastructure sensing and other fields

_ Advanced system engineering and algorithm design for applications such as sensor perception, multi-object detection and tracking, scene segmentation, sensor modeling, and 3-D environment reconstruction

_ Cooperate with Bosch business units worldwide for technology transfer and to evaluate market attractiveness of new concepts

_ Develop, and test prototypes and demonstrators based on customer requirements users and partners from Bosch business units

_ Design system architectures based on customer requirements for various research projects

_ Collaborate with leading Chinese research institutes and participate in / lead joint projects

_ Analyze technology and market trends and derive impacts on research strategy and identify key partners

Qualifications

_Excellent master degree, ideally PhD, in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related

_Strong knowledge in computer vision such as object detection, object tracking, segmentation, 3-D reconstruction, SLAM. Familiarity with open source vision libraries is preferred

_Proficiency and practical experiences in programming, e.g. C, C++, Python, and developing in Linux

_Experience in software verification and validation preferred

_Project experience for autonomous driving, or driver assistance systems is a plus

_Knowledge of automotive sensor technologies, e.g., radar, LiDAR is a plus

_Experience with embedded system development, and/or ROS is a plus

_International experience is a plus

_Passion for innovation, problem solving & entrepreneurial mindset

_Initiative and ability to lead research projects and implementation of research results in industrial environment

_Strong team player with autonomous and efficient working style

_Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)
