RESPONSIBILITIES

The Engineer plays an important role in K&B material qualification. Based on strong experiences in testing engineering he or she will be responsible to develop the testing process, documenting it and get the information. Solve problems together with product engineer

1. Responsible for kitchen and bathroom product material tests, include polymer materials, wood, ceramics, organic coating

2. Responsible for chemical tests

3. Responsible for mechanical strength and reliability tests.

4. New product, material qualification, establish test plan, Complete the product qualification approval report

5. Material test procedure establishment and maintenance per code of standards

6. Material test equipment and facilities management

7. Material lab capability establishment, road map development

8. Other works assigned by lab manager

 

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

 

Report to Lab manager Eng, Testing & Product Reliability

Manage, coach test technician to conduct test

Work closely with product engineer

 

 

Organizational Relationships

 Support K&B product engineering team

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1 ). Education: Bachelor’s or above degree majoring in Chemistry/ Materials engineering

2). Working Experiences:  5 years or above in Material or related test field

3). Knowledge in ISO 17025 and lab operation

4). Language Requirements: Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
