Responsible to support Powertrain deliverables to meet Program Timing, Cost, Function, Quality and Weight targets.

Provide interface for Powertrain in REC to various teams including Engineering groups, Vehicle Program, Joint Venture etc. to ensure clear communication across teams throughout the program.

Coordinate the development and help implementation of Powertrain Assumptions.  

Support overall Financial status (cost, investment, resources) and maintain discipline of Engineering Change Control process.

Track Design Verification plan & progress and facilitate vehicle/system/component level prototype requirements.  

Lead in resolving cross-functional Technical and Business issues related to Powertrain.

Report program/key issue status to senior management on various forums

Support Vehicle builds onsite

Required skills & selection criteria

1.Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering.

2.Previous experience in System engineering or Program management is preferred.

3.Thorough understanding of GPDS and Ford program management process.

4.Team player

a.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to convey messages in a structured, logical and precise manner.

b.Ability to work within a diverse environment. (Geographically, Culturally and functionally)

c.Prior experience with JV preferred.

5.Problem solving

a.Knowledge of Powertrain system and part functions.

b.Strong problem solving ability including analytical skills, innovative thinking and good collaborative decision making.

6.Persistence to drive through for the resolution.

7.Willingness to travel.
