Role Overview: The Program Manager manages the design and commercialization aspects of key new products with responsibility for driving collaboration of cross-functional product commercial teams. Acts as the internal liaison between Engineering, Marketing / Commercial, Operation / Manufacturing, and RA / QA management for the purpose of scheduling projects, driving the timely launch of projects, budgeting resources, and reporting on the progress of several projects that are simultaneously being prepared for commercialization. Additionally, the Program Manager engages externally in conjunction with Engineering, Marketing / Commercial, Operation / Manufacturing, and RA / QA management on an as needed basis, to support innovative commercialization efforts. The Program Manager has no direct reports but will, on a specific project basis, direct efforts of engineers, technicians, designers and outside consultants. The ability to organize, lead and motivate people toward the achievement of a common goal is a primary requirement for the position. Deals with all members of product development team internally and with the medical community, as well as vendors and consultants externally.

Responsibilities: ？ Core team leader/project manager of significant and complex strategic projects. Direct responsibility for delivering key focus products on time, within budget and with minimal long term sustaining engineering required. (30%) ？ Interfaces with all levels of staff and management in the negotiation and exchange of information. Develops and cultivates cross-departmental relationships. Collaborates with key project sponsors in bringing together a full range of cross-functional expertise and competencies necessary for the successful commercialization of targeted projects. Develops and maintains detailed project schedules and budgets for assigned projects. Drives the tactical project execution. Routinely reports on the status of the project relative to the schedule and budgets. (30%) ？ Ensures design control requirements are met for the project. Owns the Design History File (DHF). Ensures a quality focus and customer needs are met. (20%) ？ Schedules and conducts Engineering Design Reviews, Vendor Review Meetings and other cross-functional meetings, as needed. Documents the proceedings and follows up on any incomplete action items. (10%) ？ Assists in the creation of accurate forecasts for products and works cross-functionally to ensure the delivery of those forecasts. (5%) ？ May supervise tasks of members of R&D staff where appropriate and when needed. (5%)

Location: BDA, China Education: Hold a degree in scientific or engineering discipline. Licenses/ Certifications: PMP Preferred Experience: Minimum >10 years engineering and new product development experience in a large multi-disciplinary orthopaedic medical device teams required. Preferably candidate with a strong knowledge and/or understanding of local regulatory requirement.
