Overall responsible for Arteris China's Legal Affairs; China legal liaison to Arteris Headquarters and worldwide offices

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Drafting and negotiation of both Chinese and English language Arteris documents and contracts.

 

2.   Provide legal advice and daily legal support to Arteris’ international teams in the U.S., France, Japan and Korea.

 

3.   Legal assistance  Arteris’ organic growth as well as projects and investments in which Arteris participates.

 

4.    Ensure Arteris complies with strong corporate governance practices in China

5.    Coordinate Chinese claims and litigation; supervise and manage outside counsel;

6.    Provide advices in addressing employment-related issues.

7.    Managing legal entity registration and deregistration in China

Experience Requirements / Qualifications:

• Lawyer’s Certificate of PRC

• Fluent in both written and spoken English is a must

• 5+ years’ experience in a corporate legal department or a law firm focusing on corporate issues

• Understands basic semiconductor industry practice.  Having experience with hardware and software licensing is preferred

• Knowledge of equity structure rules and practice in China is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and sense of responsibility
