Job Summary: 

In this role, he/she will utilize digital solutions to solve challenging business and supply chain problems. The project portfolio will impact all aspects of Linde’s business, including on-site, liquid and packaged gases. Project opportunities will include but are not limited to supply chain and logistics optimization, business optimization, risk analysis, revenue management, and business analytics. The candidate will be asked to combine an understanding of a business problem with data based decision making to significantly impact operating profits. 

Work scope:  

The candidate will be involved in digital projects from concept initiation through commercialization, and be expected to work closely with the local operations and business organization, as well as the global digital teams. As a result, he/she will need to develop credible business cases for digital solutions, actively participate in the technical development, and lead multi-disciplinary project execution teams. 

 

Principal responsibilities ：

• Involved in digital projects from concept initiation through commercialization, and be expected to work closely with the business organization globally 

• Solve challenging business and supply chain problems by applying data analytics and operations research techniques 

• Work closely with the local operations and business organization to develop innovative digital solutions that best meet business needs 

• Domestic travel up to 15% of the time  

                    

Required key skills (functional/technical) ：

• Familiar with programming language, eg., Python, C/C#; 

• 0-3 years engineering experiences in advanced statistics, data mining, and/or optimization;  

• Must be able to interface with internal business partners, external vendors and customers from a variety of cultures and business backgrounds; 

• Self-directed individual with good interpersonal and communication skills; 

 

Required qualifications/experience：

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial, Engineering and Operations Research with more than 2 years of experience
