Responsibilities

• Generate innovation ideas and use cases for new products or application according to market trend, new technology or customer requirements.


• Feasibility study for new concepts/ideas from technology side and market side, perform system level analysis and generate system concept. Capture and analyze requirements, new ideas/ concept and potential risks and boundaries in application, responsible for project time, cost and final deliverables.


• Lead project team for SW/algorithm implementation, support SW activities in other Advanced Engineering projects.


• Tracking/collecting automotive related market trend, new technology and new application, close monitor regulations/ association and industry standards/ specifications.


• Cooperate with the internal and external stakeholders – Product Center /Sales / Marketing / Business Development / Program management internally and Customer engineering teams/ suppliers / universities/ industry associations/ government agencies externally.


• Coordinate the innovation activities in company, develop key technical competencies and establish a strong network with internal and external engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in automotive related field, computer science or Electrical Engineering


• 8+ years’ work experience of embedded SW development on mainstream automotive ECU area, e.g. TI/NXP/ST etc.


• Familiar with Bluetooth communication protocols


• Familiar with vehicle CAN/LIN/SPI/I2C applications, Ethernet/ USB/Audio experience is a plus


• Familiar with embedded C/ C++, have model-based design experience


• Linux, adaptive AUTOSAR dev. experience is a plus


• Experience with Vector tools and standard electronic equipment


• Open mind for innovation, capable to think in system level, good communication skills.


• Self-motivated and self-learning; like new technology and new challenges. Prefer for candidate with knowledge for communication system e.g.


• Fluent written and spoken English

Hella’s Nanjing location is the newest addition to our group of development centers in China. In Nanjing, the Hella electronics and lighting divisions will be combined in one office. As the electronic content of automotive lighting products continues to increase, synergies between the lighting group and the electronic group will be more important in the years to come . Over the next three years the Nanjing facility will grow to over 200 engineers. Additional e x pansion in Nanjing is planned to include a test lab and a nearby production site.
