职位描述
Responsibilities:
? Work with affected vehicles lines and functional activities (FNA engineering, Purchasing, STA, NMP, Finance) and lead the localization program to maximize synergy across multiple vehicle programs
? Identify localization related risks and, as required, take a lead role in the development of appropriate work plans and countermeasures with cross-functional teams to resolve timing, engineering development, and supplier quality issues.
? Lead components CPMT Meetings, facilitate/support other functional meetings & communications with focus to deliver unit program as required.
? Support the TDE manager for all program meetings, including CAF and other JV’s.
? Work in Nanjing, and can support suppliers’ issues near Shanghai area due to most TC suppliers are in Shanghai and Nanjing area.
? Support purchasing for supplier selection work by leading the engineering evaluation and risk assessments.
? Make clear engineering clarification to suppliers include prints dimension, tolerance, material, tests, etc.
? Coordinate with FNA engineering and JV for the test plan for all new products and make sure the test is robust and under control.
? Support quality and OPD work in engineering side.
? Support TVM and delivery target annually.
? Support Finance to get all road map done with quality.
? Support STA supplier readiness and PPAP assessments.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor Degree or above in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, master is preferred.
? Preferred candidate should have more than 10 years’ experience in Transmission and Drive line program delivery
? Candidate needs a solid understanding of transmission localization processes especially TC.
? Candidate needs an appreciation of and interest in the complexities of program for many different suppliers. The candidate should be aware of and interested in the cultural and language barriers, diversity of skills.
? Candidate needs a good understanding of Global Product Development Systems through demonstrated experience.
? Candidate should have experience in the following: (D&R) Engineering including AIMs solving, Product Planning or product Launch.
? Desired leadership behaviors include Business Acumen, Drive for Results, Innovation and Technical Excellence, and capability to supervise and coach junior engineer. Candidate should also possess strong influencing skills and good English skills.
? Candidate should be comfortable with the potential work load for some travel and be flexible with work hours due to the time differences between FNA, Europe and other markets.
? Preferred candidate should have experience on broader APA projects.
? Preferred candidate should have in depth understanding and experience working with the Automatic Transmission and Driveline supply base in China.
