职位描述

Job Description: 

 

Responsible for procurement of merchandize articles in Asia mainly for the segment AAM in Europe (to a lesser degree for the segment AAM in Asia) including standardization, supplier identification, development and -management, support of price negotiations as well as operational procurement. Responsible for the technical assessment of merchandise articles.                                                                                                                  

Supplier Management APAC

1. Supplier Relationship

2. Regular negotiations about price, payment terms etc. (in coordination with the Global Category Buyer in Europe)

3. Issuing POs / contracts

4. Healthy supplier portfolio (Best Practice exchange between the locations)

5. Ensure full contracts and documentation (compliance) as well as tailor-made contracts and Quality documents for PTG AAM

6. Risk Management -> Develop new alternative suppliers (together with the Global Category Buyer in Europe, Product Management and Quality)                                                                                                                   

Supplier development APAC

1. Identify new supplier from Asia for global demand (together with the Global Category Buyer in Europe and Americas, Product Management and Quality)

2. Develop supplier as strategic partner (together with Global Category Buyer in Europe and Quality)

3. Improve level of quality (PPM, incidents)

4. Set up capabilities/knowledge of a proper local technical release process of Merchandise Articles (at least a visual check and dimensioning of the OE-sample against the merchandise articles with a proper documentation and a retained sample)

                                                                                                                  

Internal coordination of AAM articles

1. Ensure that internally (within Continental Corporation) products will be offered (e.g. ATE)

2. Increase internal value creation if feasible and economically reasonable                                                                                                                                 

Process standardization

1. Install and improve APAC processes for AAM procurement

2. Sustainable processes

3. Increase the level of digital processes within PTG                                                                                                                           

Market Intelligence

1. Gain market knowledge of prices in the market for better negotiations (together with Product Management)

2. Gain market knowledge about supplier developments in APAC (e.g. mergers, new factories, business developments, connections between suppliers, customers of suppliers, suppliers starting their own brands, etc.) (together with Product Management)

3. Gain market knowledge about technical capabilities/solutions of suppliers on an article-level (together with Product Management)

4. Gain market knowledge about the adherence of patents of suppliers on an article-level (together with Product Management)

Reporting and analysis 

1. Regular material price planning and FC for PTG

2. Cost Reduction programs, development of Cost estimation models

3. Support Make or Buy decisions with cost check including further data analysis. E.g. in-house supply for AAM articles

4. Predict material price variance on BU / Segment level and visualize impact and provide guidance                                                                                                                       

Purchasing Strategy Implementation

1. Implement strategic targets and support achieving targets

2. Track operational achievement

 

Job Requirements:

1.University degree, preferably with economic or engineering background

2. 3 or more years of professional experience in Technical Purchasing of production material and Automotive Aftermarket, overall more than 5 years working experience

3.Proven experience in Project Management

4.Experience in project leadership

5.Experienced in Asia especially Chinese cultures and business environment
