职位描述

The Tool Install (Hookup) Designer Lead’s function is to make sure that all engineering and design activities within the assigned functional area fulfil the client’s and the corporate standards. The Tool Install Designer reports to the Design Manager.

Other responsibilities of the Tool Install Designer include, but are not limited to:

· Leads all aspects of design related to the functional area internally and externally.

· Leads and supervises functional area relevant communications for design.

· Leads all aspects of the functional area related to design and engineering.

· Comply with and implement the technical standards for the design on the project in concordance with the project scope of work and in alignment with the Design Manager.

· Comply with and implement the the Project Engineering Execution Plan (EEP) and related project procedures. · Provide timely input to the Change Control process and the Project Issues List / Risk Register.

· Maintain discipline adherence to the Project CAD Standard.

· Ensure that updates and improvements made to discipline specific processes and tools are implemented within the project.

· Provide input to the design schedule including all required reviews and submissions.

· Initiate communications and support coordination between Design for all functional area.

· Ensure that design submittals to Client, authorities and sub-contractors are done in accordance to the project procedures.

· Manage specialty consultants relevant to the Tool Install Design.

· Review and approve design and tender packages together with the Design Manager, as and when required.

· Provide input to subcontractor & client Request For Information’s and submittals following project control procedures.

· Support the Design Close-Out. Review and verify As-built and Record Documentation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Hand Over Documents. Review and verify project and design close-out documentation according to project close-out checklist.

Attend one or more comprehensive and complete Lessons Learned Workshops during the project, provide inputs from the design process, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover (whatever is applicable and visible). Support the open communication about Lessons Learned in regard to the design, ensure the collection of the inputs following company standards and facilitate the input of Lessons Learned issues from other projects to the project design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in any engineering deciplines or equivalent
3 years experience in semiconductor fab tool install / hookup design
Experience in designer lead role preffered
Experience in engineering design
Experiece in coordinating design in high tech manufacturing facilities
Experience in semiconductor tool install is preffered.
