Commercial Banking (CMB)

With dedicated Relationship Managers and Business Specialists providing local support and advice in over 60 countries and territories, HSBC helps customers make the most of opportunities for their businesses.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will

? Lead post-lending monitoring team and proposal team aligned to a common purpose and HSBC values, ensure that support teams are equipped with systems, resources and expertise to support Relationship Managers

? Coach all the RAU team members with credit knowledge and skills as well as building up right culture and awareness on risk monitoring and control in our frontline.

? Act as the primary escalation point for client transaction queries from the support teams

? Focus on building sustainable growth through relationships while leveraging our network

? Collaborate with Group colleagues to deliver appropriate needs-based solutions for customers

? Ensure appropriate risk appetite in driving the business, whilst maintaining risk controls and overseeing due diligence activities on clients and transactions

? Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating and mitigating risk

? Ensure all activities carried out by support teams adhere to prevailing HSBC and regulatory standards

? Ensure support teams keep abreast of developments, products and offerings from HSBC, competitors and market changes

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

? Bachelor degree or above (recognized by the state) majored in accountancy / economics / finance or related field.

? At least 8 years of corporate lending or credit experience with strong analytical skills and sound credit knowledge.

? Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.

? Mature and professional manner in shaping credit decisions

? Excellent communication & analytic skills.

? Ability to work in a team environment.

? Strong command of written and spoken English/Mandarin.
