Mission

1. Designs and develops required local training programs with respect to the global training and development framework.

2. Consults with Management and establishes ITP according to RASCI and manages in Learning Link.

3. Markets available training to employees and provides necessary information about sessions.

4. Sets up and trains local technical specialists, (Train the Trainer),which are certified to give SOJT for the STC organisation.

5. Conducts local training needs assessments and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.

6. Is a partner with the Global Training Manager STC, the wider Semi T&D and VTS Academy team regarding instructional design and training needs.

7. Maintains updated curriculum database and training records in Learning Link.

8. Builds annual training programs and prepares teaching plans for local STC employees.

9. Directs structured learning experiences and monitors their quality results.

10. Acclimates new hires to the business and conducts orientation sessions.

11. Assesses training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior through adoption of Kirkpatrick training evaluation principles.

12. Periodically evaluates ongoing programs to ensure that they remain accurate and relevant to the audience.
13. Evaluates
trainee's performance and develops assessment instruments.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

n Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Zone leader or similar

n Proven design and develeopment of training materials and course development for delivery on different platforms

n Hands-on experience coordinating or executing training events

n Basic understanding of principles of adult learning

n Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools

n Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate)

n High attention to detail and QA of materials and courses

n Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques

n Strong communication skills

n Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

n Local language and proficient in English – written and speaking
