Background
Founded over 160 years ago, our client is a worldwide distributor of scientific equipment, supplies, chemicals and furniture, serving the industrial, government, life science, education, electronics and pharmaceutical markets.
This position will provide ongoing leadership and support to the Outside Sales Reps, ensuring effective territory management and achievement of assigned sales, profit, expense and EBIT goals. Duties will include:
Title: Global Account Manager
Position Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role you will provide strategic account and project management support to maximize customer growth. In this role you will work closely with the Customer as well as the Sales, Managed Services, and Operational teams. You will be charged with creating and implementing successful strategies to grow customer business while managing complex project opportunities and time lines.
Continuous activities will include:
? Providing world-class follow-up and support to one of the world largest semiconductor manufacturer's different sites in China and lead in the future for Asia Pacific.
? Provide ongoing leadership, coaching, development, support and direction for on-site service organizations of 20+people.
? Management of multiple project including construction support, and conversions.
? New product development and introduction within both traditional and new lines.
? Technical support across multiple semiconductor process areas.
? Data analysis including profitability and trending analysis by product, line, functional area.
? Determine marketing and product line mix for different customer segments
? Develop key roadmaps for consumable and process material
? Interface with supplier/manufacturer community to assure competitive position for OUR CLIENT and act as liaison for technical and commercial issues with customer base.
? Successfully navigate internal service providers such as Supply Chain Management, Fulfillment, and Specialist Groups to ensure customer requirements are exceeded
Position Qualifications
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in leading teams, including the development, training and coaching of team members. Must possess a solid business background with a genuine customer focus. Additionally, you will possess:
? Strong communications skills-interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, written, verbal.
? Proven ability to interface successfully within all levels of an organization
? Strong proposal initiation, delivery, and implementation skills.
? Bi-Lingual: fluent in Chinese and English; Overseas working and educational background is preferred.
