Mission/Purpose of the Job

The VTS Divisional strategy is to strenthen the Field Service business and ensure we have a successful fleet of highly engaged and competent Technicians. Hence we have envisioned to create a multibranded organization, which will manage and serve all related brands in the region.

This set-up will increase our flexibility, footprint and customer focus whilst giving our people the opportunity to work in a broad, high competent team.

Mission of the position holder will be to establish this multibranded organization, build trust in the team, manage processes, support the change and ensure that all different service teams from all brands are served successfully through this organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Build up the multibranded organization and manage change process.

• Build trust and confidence in the team

• Hold and manage regular communication to the team as well as to all BLM, service teams.

• To effectively manage the service operations of the branch, including Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and the administration team.

• To Ensure compliance with SHEQ policies in the Field Service team. Provide advice and guidance to the FSEs on any regulatory aspects of SHEQ.

• To ensure that all service requirements are met in a timely and efficient.

• To regularly liaise with customers, both by phone and in person, to ensure that a high standard of service is delivered.

• To ensure that good standards of engineering practice are adhered to at all times.

• To maximize new business potential through effective liaison with the Equipment & Service sales teams.

• To exercise control of all costs associated with the service organization.

• To promote the training and development of all members of the service team.

• To work in tandem with the other business lines in order to effectively promote our vacuum systems at all times.

• To manage and monitor resources to ensure that all allocated work is completed on an efficient and effective basis.

• To act as a source of engineering expertise, providing advice, guidance and support to customers and colleagues.

• To prepare nonstandard customer quotations as required

• To liaise with the VTS Business Line Manager to ensure that customers’ needs are met and maintained

• Define one service process among multi-brands, set up operation manage system to run and optimze the process continuously.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

· Degree Level – Bachelor degree or above · Minimum of 10 years working experiences in service or operation management · Knowledge Areas: - Technical understanding ability or Engineering background - Good computer skills - Ability to lead and manage a team · Critical Skills Successfully manage change process Ability to build trust and have an empathetic communication style Build up and sustain relationships Being able to manage stakeholders in different parts of the organization Ability to constantly improve processes and ensure the organization constantly reviews the status quo Customer oriented Proactive mindset Scope of the job Cost and budget responsibility Leads Field Service engineers (X), Service Planners (Y)
