Job Description

As an ASIC layout designer, you will be responsible for

• Analog layout from block level, up to top level IC integration and verification.
• You will work with international design team to ensure layout quality.
• Work with wafer foundry to a successful tapeout.
• Work with CAD engineers for on-going improvements to our PDKs and design environment.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 3+ years’ experience in analog/mix-signal integrated circuit layout
• Solid knowledge of industry standard IC layout conventions and rules for reducing layout risk
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso as well as Cadence and Mentor Graphics verification and extraction
• Understanding of mainstream process effect is must (e.g.？ Latch-up, antenna, density stress, etc...)
• Routing flow and shielding for analog signals, logic signals, biases, clocks
• Demonstrated working Silicon in more than one foundry process
• English language skill in writing and speaking is must

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Work experience in an international team
• Analog circuit design knowledge is a plus
• Experience in the layout of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, Bandgap
• Experience in 110nm~180nm processes for low power and low noise design
• More than 3 successful new tape-out on mixed-signal product
• Abstract and DEF/LEF generation for auto-routing
• Place and route experience for synthesized logic is a plus
• Experience creating an IC floor plan for a ultra-low power mixed-signal product
