As the Engineering Manager for the Xi'an Test Department, the successful candidate will be based in Xi'an, China, reporting to the MXA Test Operations Manager, and be responsible for all aspects of supporting MXA Test Operations and Technical Staff, and continuing to develop the organization into a world class team.

Major Responsibilities
1 Managing the following technical functions for the department - test engineering, process engineering, engineering data technicians, materials engineering.
2 Budgeting, recruiting, hiring, and training of engineering team, to meet the MXA Test Operation output needs.
3 Budgeting, monitoring, controlling and improvement of Engineering team related expenses, and contribute to overall Test Cost improvements.
4 Administering all Engineering and processes, including SPC procedures.
5 Ensuring MXA Test site is able to achieve and maintain various ISO certifications and pass customer audits, as required.
6 Ensuring proper documentation is in place for Test Engineering & Process Engineering for the Site.
7 Interacting with peers and other Departments globally as required.
8 Monitoring, reporting, improving, and addressing issues with yields, throughput, performance metrics, and other engineering data.
9 Responsible for ensuring qualification and availability of materials, consumables to support the operation.
10 Responsible for Disciplinary issues within the Engineering team.

Qualifications
1 Have a minimum 5 years technical staff management experience.
2 Have strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, and team building skills.
3 Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance management skills.
4 Have previous experience with semiconductor test industry data tools and manufacturing software systems, and engineering and equipment support software applications and methodologies.
5 Have extensive knowledge of semiconductor component testing/ATE process.
6 Have excellent English skills in both oral and written.
7 Education: Engineering Degree.
