Job Title: Inventory Controller

Reports to: Finance Manager

Department: Finance

Location: China

ROLE

This position is based in the Shanghai Saint Laurent office, directly reporting to Finance Manager and responsible for inventory activities across retail stores in China.

MISSION

? Manage inventory movement and monitor stock on hand in the retail stores

? Liaise with retail team, office team and warehouse team to support stock/inventory issues including stock transfer, return & write-off etc.

? Partner with Store Operations and warehouse team to perform, update and maintain auto replenishment accuracy in the Inventory system

? Maintain and update all inventory control reports, collect and validate all inventory adjustment requirements from different departments, especially post void, discount, price override, returned merchandise and special order etc.

? Investigate the stock discrepancy and adjust in the system based on company procedures

? Make sure all sales for the month were audited and no missing data, reconcile every transfer with error showing as at month-end

? Support inventory co-ordination between warehouse and stores to ensure deliveries are made and received on a timely manner

? Conduct monthly cycle counts, coordinate bi-annual stock take and assist reconcile variance on the spot

? Perform other duties as assigned

PROFILE

? Degree holder in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or Business Administration

? Require a minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory or related field, experience in the retail industry will be an advantage

? Proficient in inventory control and logistics arrangement

? Detail driven, self-motivated, well-organized and able to work under pressure

? Good command of English and Mandarin

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
