Overview of Role:

The purpose of this role is responsible for IT application support activities including maintenance, administration, and second and third line support. They will work closely with the Service Desk to provide second and third line operational support and to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT application-related incidents and service requests.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve IT application-related incidents, service requests and problems in a timely and efficient manner in line with Business requirements.
• Employ appropriate application maintenance, support and incident management processes and procedures to support and maintain IT applications, and to investigate and resolve IT application-related incidents.
• As required, provide timely communication to users on the status of their service requests and incidents.
• Undertake IT application-related problem diagnosis, implementing problem resolution or prevention measures as appropriate.
• Maintain IT application support technical documentation.
• Prioritise and schedule assigned support activities and tasks.
• Participate in disaster recovery activities as required.
• Act as a role model for more junior members of staff, providing technical guidance and the benefit of experience in assisting them to gain their objectives.

Required / Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

n 5+ years’ experience in ASP.NET technologies and working with Web applications.

n Solid knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, WCF, Web API, HTML, CSS.

n Good knowledge on Javascript Framework, such as jQuery, Angular, VUE.

n Experiences in WeChat related development, setup and configuration.

n Experience working with large data driven web applications using a variety of data storage and retrieval methods including Oracle, MS SQL Server, My SQL.

n Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.

n Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

n Listening ability and patience.

n Good English skill in listening, reading, writing and speaking.

n Highly self-motivated with a passion for delivering high quality customer service.
