Job description

• You will be joining a team of engineers responsible for developing and improving continuously variable transmissions
• You will support launch of new products in China as well as improvement of existing products
• You take part in the design and improvement of mechanical components, and the introduction of new suppliers.
• Responsible for validation through the development and supervision of testing methods, monitoring and the use of FMEA.
• As technical expert you will be leading engineering activities and coaching other mechanical engineers
• Take part in field return investigation and performance investigation, study root cause analysis, give out engineering solution and validate the effect

Profile

• Master degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in automotive engineering environment
• Strong technical background in mechanical engineering both design and manufacturing
• Experience in automatic transmissions development is an asset.
• Experience in six sigma is an asset
• Clear communication, proficient in reporting knowledge and results.
• Good proficiency of English
• You are a perseverant person with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
• You are willing to travel regularly
