Major Responsibilities
-Organize and facilitate design material cost reduction idea generation events, coordinate event facilities, attendances and drive event outcome to objective;
-Liaise with Ford D&R and JV PD/Purchasing to facilitate cost reduction idea engineering execution
-Working with function team to do TARR analysis for individual idea, so that to decide if it’s a valid idea worth to spend engineering effort on;
-Work with function team to set up work plan for verified valid idea and track down progress;
-Facilitate alignment / change control approvals with affected stakeholders including but not limited to Program, Marketing, Studio, Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing etc., as enablers for cost reduction TVM idea execution;
-Oversee roadmap execution progress vs. target for assigned areas, proactively take proper actions to keep the delivery on track;
-Manage CRID2 database to ensure the process discipline is followed;
-Liaise with affected plant to manage stock for the upcoming TVM idea execution on time;
-Travel to suppliers and/or our JV manufacturing facilities is required;

-Right of suggestion about E/E component price

Competences and Capability & Skills
-PM with E/E technical background, cost analysis and down.
-Fairly good technical knowledge of Automotive electrical and electronics commodities and cost structure
-Experience on Program Management. (Gant Charts, understanding of lead times, etc.)
-Familiar with engineering change control process
-Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
-Excellent interpersonal skills & demonstrated result orientated leadership behaviors, team work spirit, positive thinking etc., be comfortable with working in a flexible and dynamic environment.

Working Experience
-More than 2 years of Electrical/Electrics component development or Manufactory experience;
-More than 1 year program/project manager;

Cooperates with
-Program manage team;
-System Launch support team member;
-Global lead engineer and JV
