Role Background
Founded in the 1997, we are a leading provider of power discrete semiconductor device. We are targeting to hire a Director of Product Line Sales with Power Electronics experience who can travel globally up to 50% (if needed) to help expand our new SiC product division. Prior experiences with SiC or other power discrete is preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop, communicate and implement new business strategies
- Identify, define actions, and lead the development and implementation of capture plans to win new business opportunities
- Lead capture teams and proposal efforts associated with high value new program pursuits
- Formulate specific forecasts and action plans for near-term opportunities
- Develop and maintain a long term strategic plan and opportunity pipeline as well as a rolling forecast of new opportunities
- Assist customers in the development of their requirements and resolve customer questions to ensure requirements are defined and understood
- Review specifications and statements of work and develop pricing methodologies and strategies
- Develop proposals based on input from operations, engineering and program management
- Ensure appropriate technical, programmatic and management reviews are completed and recommendations are incorporated into the submittal documents
- Support the Contracts team and participate in negotiation of sales terms and conditions, including final pricing
- Receive customer orders and ensure terms and conditions correspond with those negotiated or proposed
- Maintain post-sale customer relationship and support (ensure that the internal team understands the customer needs and our contractual requirements)
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelors Degree or above (ideally in Engineering discipline - electrical would be preferred)
- Experience working w/ multiple company & customer sites
-Willing to travel up to 50% of the time golobally (the remainder can be done remotely at your residence)
-Experience with SiC power devices is very useful
-Minimum 7 years in Semiconductor business
